Talk about your brand
Welcome to my site. I have been turning for just over a year and would love to share the passion for pen making that I have developed recently. Thanks to the encouragement of my son Josiah and the encouragement of my family and customers I have found a deep appreciation for the art form and its beauty. Should you choose to order a pen from me there are a couple of things you should know about the process. All of my pens are guaranteed for flaws in the craftsmanship, and all are completely refillable at your local officer supply store except on a few rare special pens when noted. Each pen is also warrantied on mechanical function in the course of normal usage.
As you browse my inventory, please keep in mind these are just the pens I have made, not all the options that can be made. Simply any pen design can be use with any wood and most acrylics as well as antler. There are sometimes restrictions on the use of pictures simply due to the diameter or length of the pen selected. So if you see a pen design you like but would like to have it made from another wood please contact me and I'm certain it can be done. The same is true if you have an image you would like to see encapsulated in a pen. I have made pens for state senators. retirements, promotions, marketing, as well as the patriotic and religious images shown in the inventory. Additionally, I can customize any image with names dates or occasions to make the pen especially meaningful to the recipient. Because each pen is often custom made and/engraved, I generally claim a two-to-three-week turnaround although it is often sooner.
A great deal of care and thought goes into each pen I make. If the turning material is wood or antler the piece is inspected to determine the most optimal drilling and presentation of the natural beauty with consideration focused on wood grain and marrow as well as any flaws or natural blemishes. A large part of the beauty and appeal of such craft are the blemishes and uniqueness of each piece so no two are identical. Once the natural material is turned down to the desired shape and diameter, it is finished with multiple coats of epoxy and sanded to 0 microns or roughly 15000 grit. This ensures a product that will last through the years
